The Soaps of Brooke Valley

Our vegetable-based soaps, made with 60% olive oil, are excellent for your skin. The pure ingredients and the naturally occurring glycerin will leave your skin feeling soft and silky, never dry.

Our soap is made carefully, one small batch at a time, following a special recipe which gives the optimum blend of hardness, lather and moisturizing.

We offer an array of scent "families", including: fruity, floral, foody, herbal, woodsy and watery, as well as unscented. The selection varies with the soapmaker's whim and availability of fragrances.

Unscented:   Plain or with Oatmeal, our most requested skin-nourishing bar. This soap is popular with customers who have eczema or other skin problems.

You may notice that some soaps are coloured while some remain plain. Keep in mind that you may never see the exact same "look" again. This illustrates the charm and beauty of "handmade". Colours are created using earthy oxides, herbs or clays. Occasionally, the addition of flowers, oats, and seeds will lend some texture to a particular soap, such as Gardeners' Scrub.
